August 1, 1882: Railroad Reaches Flagstaff
The railroad line extended to Flagstaff, and 100 houses were recorded.
The town rapidly grew, with 18 saloons and several businesses established within weeks.
Despite initial plans to focus on Winslow and Seligman, Flagstaff became a key location due to its rapid development.
